Frequently Asked Questions
- What design tools do you use?
We believe great design happens when everyone is on the same page. That’s why we use Figma. It allows us to work agilely, making updates in real-time so you’re never left wondering what a change might look like. By building interactive prototypes directly into our workflow, we let you experience the flow and functionality of your project before a single line of code is written. This removes the guesswork and bridges the gap between your vision and our execution, ensuring a seamless, consistent result every time.
- How do I share information with you during the project?
To maintain momentum and keep communication clean, we use a dedicated Project Management tool as our single source of truth. Instead of losing important details in long email chains, all updates, task tracking, and feedback happen in one place. This agile approach ensures that the entire team stays aligned, deadlines are transparent, and you always have a real-time view of our progress.
- How can we make sure things run smoothly (content, annual leave, readiness for calls, who needs to be involved)?
Getting off on the right foot is all about open communication. While we’re built to be flexible when urgent needs arise, the project runs smoothest when we have a shared view of the "knowns" such as team availability, content readiness, and who the final decision-makers are for each phase. We ask that we align on key dates, upcoming annual leave, and content availability at the start, this allows us to proactively manage the timeline so that "real life" doesn't become a roadblock to our progress.
- Can you provide imagery for my site?
Absolutely. Finding the right visuals can be tough, and we’re here to help. Whether you need custom onsite photography of your team and products or expertly sourced stock that aligns with your brand, we’ve got you covered. We’ll discuss these options during the proposal stage to find the best fit for your budget. If you have your own assets or want to handle the sourcing, we’re happy to work with those as well. We just make sure the plan is clear from the start so the final result is perfectly reflective of your brand.
- What about SEO?
We build every site with a solid SEO foundation. The digital landscape is evolving, and it’s no longer just about Google; your site now needs to be optimised for LLMs and AI search tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
Architecturally, we ensure your site is SEO-ready from day one. We provide guidance on best practices and can introduce you to our SEO specialist for ongoing growth. If you are already working with a 3rd party SEO agency, please let us know at the start! We love collaborating, and early involvement ensures we clear any technical roadblocks or approval hurdles before they impact your launch date. - How do I pay you?
We aim to keep our billing simple. Our standard structure consists of a commencement fee followed by three equal instalments (typically over a 16-week project), payable via BACS. This ensures the final balance is settled just before your site goes live. We find this works best for most projects, but we’re always open to a conversation.
- Can we meet face-to-face?
Absolutely, we can! While our process is designed to run seamlessly in a digital environment, we value the human connection of a face-to-face meeting. We typically handle the day-to-day collaboration remotely to keep communication clean and documented, but we’re more than happy to meet up for key milestones or strategy sessions. If you’re local or would like to host us, just let us know at the beginning so we can build it into the roadmap.
